The Steading Bed and Breakfast is situated next to
the world famous Rosslyn Chapel, which can be seen from our
garden. We are situated on the edge of the historic village of Roslin
and, with just a limited number of guests staying at any time,
you can expect a homely and peaceful stay here.

Conversion of The Steading was
completed in 1996 by the present owners and we now offer 4-star
Visit Scotland accommodation with all rooms newly upgraded and
decorated to a high, modern standard. Our bedrooms are on the
ground floor in a separate wing of the house, allowing guests to
enjoy a high degree of privacy. You have the opportunity to stay
in a lovely family home, situated in its own private grounds, in
a beautiful and peaceful country setting. |

A visit to Edinburgh is easy,
either by car or the local bus service – the City boundary is
just 5 minutes drive and the city centre is approximately 25
minutes drive away. It is the ideal base for visiting the
Scottish Borders, East Lothian, Stirling and Central Scotland
and the southern Highlands area.
The delightful Roslin
Country Park is only a short stroll away after passing Roslin
Castle, which is situated down in the glen behind the chapel.
